For the most part, SEO is friendly business and many of us share our knowledge within the search marketing community. We discuss things on blogs, in forums and meet up occasionally at conferences. - Mike Blumental - Mike's the man when it comes to Google Maps and blogging about its new features and outing spammers.
- Andrew Shotland - Andrew tends to blog mainly about local search as it pertains to larger nationwide sites like yellowpages directories but offers tidbits for small biz seo from time to time too.
- Matt McGee - writes about various aspects of small business marketing on his blog. He also write about Hyperlocal Blogging over here.
- Greg Sterling - Greg blogs about the latest developments in local search. New services and providers, changes with Google, developments in mobile internet, etc. and other major developments on the internet.
- Mirriam Ellis - Miriam is a web designer in Northern California that's pretty active in local search. You'll see her commenting often on the other blogs listed here.
- Dev Basu - Dev, a fellow Canadian, blogs about local SEO as well as expands it into Social Media and internet marketing in general.
- Steve Hatcher - Stever is the guy behind this site, geolocalseo.com. I'm not a prolific blogger and dont always talk local, but hey, I'll inlcude it anyways. You'll see me commenting on the other blogs listed above.
